Wain is a restaurant discovery and restaurant management platform designed for the Kuwaiti market. The ecosystem combines native iOS and Android applications for consumers with a dedicated web portal for restaurant owners and an administration platform for internal operations. Users can discover restaurants, create collections, write reviews, and explore personalized recommendations, while restaurant owners manage business information, menus, branches, media, and publishing requests from a centralized dashboard.

Wain was developed using native technologies for both mobile platforms and a modern web architecture. The technology stack includes Swift and SwiftUI for iOS, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android, React and Next.js for the restaurant business portal, Ruby on Rails for backend services, AWS cloud infrastructure, Firebase services, and Amplitude analytics. The initial MVP was delivered over approximately nine months including discovery and design stages, while the partnership continued for more than two years through continuous product improvements, feature development, platform optimization, and production releases.
